For many years I have taken a keen interest in photography, especially black and white. So, in the fullness of time, after having learnt to dive, it was only natural for me to try my hand at the underwater stuff. The opportunity to give it a go came when my good friend Dave Buckle told me he was going on a liveaboard and invited me along. We were extremely lucky – the weather was outstanding for the time of year and, as a result, the visibility remained gin-clear.
