Silhouette is the third largest island in the Seychelles. Much of the 20 square kilometre island is covered in dense tropical forest full of endemic and endangered plant and animal species. The surrounding coastline consists of towering granite cliffs and palm-fringed sandy beaches. Labriz (which is Creole for ‘the wind’) officially opened in January 2007. Most of the environmentally friendly resort is built around the forestation, maintaining the ‘natural’ look.
