Live and let’s heli-dive!

Queensland-based Heli-Dive is the only organisation in the world which allows civilian divers the opportunity to do helicopter jumps – an experience previously reserved for military and rescue divers. Sport Diver’s Tony Karacsonyi dropped in for the ultimate adrenaline rush.

Work, rest and play

Fancy doing some scientific research off the Great Barrier Reef and log some of the best dives around at the same time? Charles Sterling did and found the experience hard work, but extremely rewarding and fun.

Diving wild!

Ningaloo Marine Park is a place where the harsh Aussie desert meets the sea, a place where desert creatures like knob-tailed geckoes can virtually see the whalesharks passing along the coast. Tony Karacsonyi flew from his home on the east coast to answer the big question – is Ningaloo as good as the Great Barrier Reef?

New Zealand...

Islands overview
