There are many reasons why people carry out technical diving. If you talk to technical divers, then one reason for diving deeper or staying longer does seem to stand out as the most common. That reason is the desire to visit deeper wrecks, or to spend more time on wreck dives. For divers who enjoy sea life, there is relatively little reason for going deeper.
