vr3 v galileo sol
As Martin said, we've been using the Sol for several months (and I had a BETA test unit prior to that) and it is a fantastic computer. Simple to use and navigate, clear to read, infinitely adjustable and very advanced.
However, the one advantage the VR3 has over it is the ability to do trimix and fully closed circuit rebreathers. If you are thinking of doing this form of diving, then the VR3 might be a better option. Trimix is something which might be coming on line with the Galileo range down the line, but I doubt you will see CCRs supported.
If you are only going to be doing nitrox mixes or recreational diving, then the Sol is good bet.
