blue o two now offering technical diver training
Dive operator blue o two now offers technical training, equipment hire and a specialised technical itinerary.
The PADI Tec Deep level course is available covering TEC 40, TEC 45 and TEC 50 modules, qualifying divers to make technical decompression dives. Participants will learn how to use decompression software and dive computers to plan and make decompression dives, dive up to 50m, use enriched air nitrox and/or oxygen for decompression and use desk top decompression software to create custom dive tables and plan dives.
blue o two Company Director, Nathan Tyler said: “Divers are an inquisitive breed, always looking for a new challenge and the next adventure. We have, and always will try to facilitate this and our most recent step is offering technical training in a safe environment with an experienced team onboard our Red Sea liveaboard fleet.”
blue o two also offers a specialist Technical Diving itinerary called ‘RedTec: Technical trip 40m+', which they run in conjunction with Diving Matrix. This trip is aimed at all technical divers, from entry level through to experienced technical divers. Sport Diver columnist Paul Toomer of Diving Matrix will be onboard to conduct courses if required and mini refresher workshops on dive skills, dive planning, kit setup and so on. RedTec is based on the 'Strait of Tiran and North' itinerary but also offers the opportunity to sail to exciting and untouched sites which are not offered on the standard itineraries.
