UW treasure hunt for Pakistan flood victims
An underwater treasure hunt and raffle at Gildenburgh Water inland dive site will help raise much-needed funds for victims of the Pakistan floods.
Dive In Gildenburgh Water, near Peterborough, will be staging the event on 4 September organised by Sarah Coleman, with prizes up for grabs including Mares polo shirts, tee shirts, Mares and PADI baseball caps.
Two ‘star’ prizes are a five-session pool card worth £50 and two accompanied dives with Sarah, worth £60. Plus, buy raffle tickets to win a great ‘non-diving’ prize.
Divers are encouraged to contribute an extra £1 in addition to the normal dive fee as a donation to the flood appeal. This will entitle you to take part in the treasure hunt. Raffle tickets are £1 per strip, and the draw will take place at 3pm.
£20 buys a day of fun at the lake, for others it buys blankets, temporary shelters, food and clean water. It's the difference between life and death. Donate your small change, make a big difference!
All money raised will be donated to the DEC Pakistan flood appeal. Can't make it on the day? Donate at the link below.
