Tour operator adds Malta tech trips to portfolio
Regaldive has recently introduced technical diving packages to Malta.
For experienced divers, the course enables participants to dive deeper, extend dive times and to safely visit sites out of reach for recreational divers.
Malta is the ideal destination to undertake these courses, not only because of its calm underwater conditions, but also because it is home to some fascinating historical wrecks, which tend to be in deeper water. Some impressive WWII and Roman archaeological artefacts can be found at some of Malta’s deeper dive sites.
Technical diving packages are offered in a choice of three, four or five star accommodation, situated in a convenient location to the dive centre. Seven nights’ 3* accommodation and a two to three day PADI Tec 40 course package costs from £661 per person, to include return flights, transfers and bed and breakfast basis accommodation, based on two people sharing. The course includes extra guided Tech dives after the qualification.
Those keen to refine their skills further to dive to a maximum depth of 45m can opt for a holiday that incorporates both the PADI Tec 40 and PADI Tec 45. The price, from £794 includes the course fees, eight nights’ 3* accommodation on a B&B basis, flights and transfers.
Finally, those who want to tick-off all of the technical courses in one holiday can do so over 12 days, culminating in the completion of thePADI Tec 50, which allows participants to safely execute decompression dives down 50m. The price, from £1,103 includes 11-nights 3* accommodation on a B&B basis, flights and transfers. Also included are four additional guided tech dives, allowing participants to embed the skills they have learnt during the courses.
