TV show 'Don't Tell the Bride' goes scuba
BBC show ‘Don’t tell the Bride’ is set to feature a couple tying the knot underwater.
Now in its sixth series, the popular programme features young, loved-up couples being given the wedding of their dreams. But there is one big catch - the groom has to organise every single aspect of the big day. Until the wedding day itself the bride knows nothing of the arrangements - the ceremony, the venue, the guest list, the food or flowers. She sees the dress he’s chosen for her to wear only the day before.
The Platinum Episode (60th) will feature a young groom surprising his bride with an underwater wedding at their local swimming pool where they first met.
Oyster Diving was approached by the husband-to-be and producers to give a crash scuba course to the wedding party. During the training session for the groom and best men, Mark Murphy, owner of Oyster Diving, was asked by the groom if he would act as ‘vicar’ for the biggest day of the couple’s lives.
Will the bride-to-be cry with tears of joy or tears of sadness when she finds out that the four hours spent on her hair, make-up and wedding dress will be completely ruined? Will she even go through with the wedding? You’ll be able to see for yourself on 9th October on BBC3.
