Save $100 on RF3 by booking today
Divers interested in attending Rebreather Forum 3 (RF3) can save up to $100 by booking their ticket today.
The event, set to take place from 18-20 May, 2012, at the Caribe Royale, 8101 World Center Drive, Orlando, Florida, is set up in order to assess and manage safety and improve understanding in rebreather diving
Dr Neal Pollock, DAN's Research Director and one of the organisers behind RF3, said: “The main aim of RF3 is to evaluate the state of the art. We're are going to assess the current situation regarding manufacturing, testing, training and diving protocols to check that we are doing this as safely as we can, and highlight areas that need improving for the community to move forward.
“We have convened this conference to tap the wisdom of many, rather than relying on the interpretations of any few. Doing it this way allows us to pull together all the different views and we then assess the results through one lens.”
He added that the sport still suffers “a number” of fatalities each year and that an honest assessment of these incidents is the best way to progress the sport.
