Sardinia diving event returns for second year

The Sardinia uw photography and diving event returns for its second year this September with a number of changes.

The three-day event will be held from 17-19 September and will again include kit demos of Mares diving equipment and Nikon and Nimar photography gear.

The photography competition will be held over one day, and will now include a day and night dive. To reflect the changes this year’s event is called: ‘Under the Seas of the Bonifacio Strait, Day and Night’.

Prizes in the photography competition include €1,000 for the first prize wide-angle, and a Nikon D300 and Nimar housing for first prize in the macro category. Other prizes include a week’s holiday to Palau, Sardinia, for two people, and Mares diving equipment.

Italian freediver Gianluca Gennoni will be demonstrating his technique and offering advice to budding freedivers, as well as snorkelling trips for children.
