Regaldive launches new website
Dive operator Regaldive has launched a brand new website.
Having been redeveloped from scratch, the site is predicted to shake things up in the diving holiday industry, especially as its launch has replaced the production of the specialist operator’s traditional printed brochure.
Responding to customer feedback, it aims to be more user-friendly than before, with new features including the following:
Impressive search functionality. A key feature of the new website is an extensive search functionality which allows customers to fine-tune their ideal criteria. Based on this, they are presented with ideas which are tailored to their individual requirements, with the aim of guiding them to their perfect holiday. What’s more, improved navigation will help customers drill down faster and more easily to the information that is relevant to them.
A fresh new look. The crisp design includes features such as videos, Google Maps, a blog with RSS feed and increased social media integration.
Comparison and review tools. The addition of shortlists allows for the side-by-side comparison of different holidays, which can then be sent by email. A one-stop-shop allows customers to find and compare the best liveaboard deals from a range of fleets. Furthermore, a prominent customer review system allows users to read reviews about specific accommodation, liveaboards and destinations that have been posted directly onto the site by other customers.
Andreas Elia, Managing Director of Regaldive, said: “The ultimate aim for the new site was to make it much easier to use – meaning that navigation had to be improved and a search function incorporated. We are also delighted that, on top of the great new functionality, the site looks fantastic with lots of inspirational imagery that will no doubt have customers itching to don fins and a mask.”
“Our decision to move away from the production of a traditional brochure comes down to the fact that we no longer feel that this is the best way to provide our customers with the information they need. In this ever-changing travel industry, fluctuating flight prices and frequent accommodation additions mean that a brochure is outdated no sooner than it goes to print. By investing our efforts into a fully-comprehensive website, customers can be assured of seeing our full portfolio, with up-to-date pricing, at the touch of a button.”
