Plans for Europe's largest artificial reef unveiled

Plans to create Europe’s largest artificial reef have been unveiled.

The Ocean Revival Project is aiming to scuttle four vessels off the Algarve coastline in southern Portugal to create a sustainable and dive-friendly tourist hotspot.

For the plan to become a reality, funding is required. Divers and ocean-lovers in general are being asked to donate.

Contributions will be used to clean, prepare and sink the ships. What’s more, you can make a donation to one of the ships specifically.
