New dive boat for St Abbs

Experienced St Abbs dive boat skipper Paul Crowe has replaced his popular boat MV Topline with the larger MV Tiger Lilly.

The intention is to take divers out to explore new wrecks and offshore sites from St Abbs as well as all the old favourite sites.

MV Tiger Lilly is an 11.5-metre-long Interceptor with a 450hp engine with a maximum speed of 20 knots. There is ample space for 12 divers and the boat even comes with a custom-built electric diver-lift fitted to the stern for easy entry and exit from the water.

MV Tiger Lilly is coded for up to 60 miles from a safe haven, so Paul is able to offer trips further away from harbour as required. The large main cabin has plenty of seating, a galley, a separate heads compartment and locker space.

The aft cockpit has a flush deck with four metres of beam so there is more than enough room for anglers, divers and their equipment. The boat is also equipped with a kettle, another very essential item; so you're sure to be welcomed aboard by Paul with a cup of tea or coffee!

Paul and his family also own the Rock House accommodation right at St Abbs harbour where divers can book B&B accommodation. Air is also available on site.
