New PADI online learning for uw photographers
Nearly 79 percent of PADI divers have expressed an interest in digital underwater photography. To meet this demand PADI has launched the Digital Underwater Photographer Course Online.
This addition to the PADI eLearning family makes it easy for both divers and non-divers to explore the world of digital underwater photography at their convenience, in conjunction with their local PADI Dive Centre or Resort.
Refreshed and updated to meet today’s point-and-shoot camera capabilities, the PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Course Online reflects how the world of digital imaging has significantly changed over the past few years.
Updated images and illustrations help eLearners familiarise themselves with basic camera functions and underwater photography techniques. A new section on capturing underwater video helps divers take advantage of the video feature now available on many point-and-shoot cameras.
PADI eLearning offerings continue to expand and are currently available for seven courses: Open Water Diver (available in seven languages), Advanced Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Instructor Development Course, Digital Underwater Photographer, PADI Dive Theory, and Scuba Tune Up.
