Divers complete OW dives in the snow

Two hardy new divers completed a couple of Open Water dives over the weekend, despite the snowy conditions.

The pair, both students with Divecrew, braved 3 degrees C water in order to chalk off more of their OW check list.

A spokesperson for Divecrew said: “The weekend of the 4th and 5th February will be well remembered by the divers from Divecrew - one for the history books. Six inches of snow was not going to stop the Open Water course from running.”

It was added that the dive outfit rarely postpones dives on account of the fact that all students dive in drysuits.
