Sunreef Scuba Diving Services is a PADI 5 STAR IDC Centre located on Queensland Sunshine Coast just a 1 hour drive north of Brisbane.

The ex Australian Navy Guided Missile destroyer, HMAS BRISBANE , D41, once decommissioned, was prepared and scuttled as a dive wreck and artificial reef off Mooloolaba. The site is only 15 minutes boat ride from the mouth of the Mooloolah River. Sunreef offers half day double dives to the site 7 days.

Open every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Sunreef offers all levels of training and the HMAS BRISBANE offers the opportunity to complete either an Advanced Course, Deep, Wreck or Enriched Air (Nitrox) course while visiting.. All equipment is available for hire. We have Oceanic hire equipment in excellent condition, with all regulators fitted with octopus and Veo 100 Nx computers.

Underwater LED torches/flashlights and Olympus Cameras are available for hire. Mooloolaba and the Sunshine Coast offer a fantastic variety of attractions, activities, resturants and outdoor activities which makes for a great holiday location with some fantastic diving.

The HMAS BRISBANE was scuttles in July 2005 and has attracted a huge variety of marine life, big and small, that now calls the wreck 'home'. Huge Queensland Grouper, Bull rays, Eagle Rays, turtles, King Fish, Red Emperor, Butterfy Cod, nudibranchs, soft and hard corals and more....
