PT. Pantai Kasawari Indah: Dive into Lembeh

"Dive into Lembeh" is nestled in Kasawari Bay and has it's own resort, located on the main land of the Lembeh strait, Indonesia - a true macro photographer's paradise- just off the north east coast of Sulawesi and is famous for it's "muck diving" on black volcanic sand. The resort is located at the northern end of the strait offering unspoiled views of Lembeh island.

Muck diving is all about spotting weird and wonderful underwater critters, species that you would normally not find during a regular dive.

Diving in the Lembeh strait means you are diving with a guide who is trained to show you species such as frog fish, hairy frog fish, mimic octopus, blue ringed octopus, banded sea snake, mandarin fish, orang-utan crabs, mantis shrimps and many other critters that are hiding on the black volcanic sand, amongst patches of rubble and coral. The Lembeh Island dive sites offer some great coral walls.

"Dive into Lembeh" has nine sea view private bungalows -all in the same category -and each bungalow has its own Japanese onsen on the veranda, to warm up in at the end of your diving day.

All of our rooms are equipped with tv, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini bar, safe and a five gallon water dispenser for hot and cold water and the best thing is, we have two of the most famous dive sites in Lembeh (called "Hairball and Aw shucks") as a house reef!

We also have an open air restaurant and bar, sea view fire pit area with comfy chairs to hang out and swap diving stories in the evenings, a swimming pool, a fully equipped divecenter with spacious camera room and a beautiful resort spa with sea view to get pampered in.

"Dive into Lembeh's" private sea view bungalows are all made out of locally sourced wood and other materials.
We have our own water well on our level ground property, which provides water for our swimming-pool, japanese onsen, spa and showers, as well as our rinse tanks for diving equipment and photo cameras.

Getting here:
Manado airport, the international gateway to North Sulawesi is called Sam Ratulangi airport (code MDC) and is situated an approximate 90 minute drive from our resort at Dive into Lembeh.
MDC airport is reachable by direct flight from Singapore, Jakarta, Bali, Makassar and Sorong (the gateway to Raja Ampat).

Our recommended route is to use Singapore Airlines ( and it's regional carrier Silk Air.
Singapore Airlines offers an extra 10 kg for diving equipment and this courtesy is also extended on Silk Air. Silk Air flies 4 times a week to MDC (Monday, wednesday, friday and saturday).

Flights arriving from Europe and the USA arrive early enough in Singapore to allow you to connect direct with the Silk Air flight. Singapore Air offers great stopover deals in Singapore if you would like to break up your trip.
