Mark's Blog: Shark soup
Hi all,
Just finished a week on the Werner Lau liveaboard MV Sheena in the Maldives. Did some fantastic channel dives with guide Hassan Naif, a certified 'current junkie', and saw grey reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, hammerheads and even a lone thresher shark, not to mention turtles, manta rays and eagle rays.
Now on to Medhufushi and Filitheyo for some land-based diving.
Still no whalesharks, my 'Moby Dick' continues to elude me... Maybe on my next assignment I will 'break my duck' - watch this space!
